Conference Flyer

This year is a big year for the Australasian Society for Human Biology. It the society's 25th anniversary and it will be celebrated at the Australian National University in Canberra. The theme for this year is Human Biology: Through the Looking Glass, and gives an opportunity not only to see what has changed and progressed in the last 25 years, but to look to the future and examine where human biology research is going.

Due to the generous support of the ANU CASS Research Hub, we have been able to invite several internationally renowned researchers as keynote speakers to the conference, including Professor Jane Buikstra and Professor J R Lukacs.

We encourage you to be imaginative with your interpretation of the 'Looking Glass'. It could be an eye on the past or the future, or the view through a microscope or other lens.We look forward to a wide variety of presentations this year in all areas of human biology, including Biological Anthropology, Bioarchaeology, Evolution and Primatology, Anatomy and Medicine.

More information about ASHB can be found at the website: http://school.anhb.uwa.edu.au/ashb/

Conference Pack

The Conference Pack contains full details regarding the conference, guidelines for presentations (oral and poster) as well as the presentation submission forms and ASHB membership subscription/renewal forms. It also contains information on accommodation at ANU and in Canberra. Please make sure you download this and read the guidelines BEFORE submitting presentation abstracts.

NB: If you download the pdf version of the Conference Pack and intend to submit a presentation you will also need to download the rtf versions of the Presentation Submission Form and/or Membership Subscription/Renewal Form. All presentation submissions must be typed within the form and returned to the Conference Secretary.
