For this Bio Anth Seminar, we will be joined by TWO speakers, Dr Samantha Yaussy from Utah State University and Dr Lucie Biehler-Gomez from the University of Milan. Samantha and Lucie, who are bioarchaeologists, will each present an in-person talk. Dr Yaussy’s will present on “Intersectional Perspectives on Health in the Past” and Dr Biehler-Gomez will present on “Atherosclerotic Calcifications: From Soil and Dirt to Diagnosing Cardiovascular Diseases.”

This seminar will be held at 4pm on Thursday 11 May (AEST) via Dual Delivery (please note the time change for this seminar). Feel free to attend in person in Room W3.03 in the Baldessin Precinct Building on the ANU’s Acton Campus or attend online by registering for a Zoom link. A small selection of tea, coffee, and light snacks will be provided for those attending in person.
