Applications Open for Student Scholarships and Grants

A number of scholarships, awards and travel grants are currently open to students in bioanthropology, archaeology and anthropology.
Primate Conservation Travel Grant
Applications open: 20 December 2021 – 1 March 2022
There are up to four grants on offer ranging from $500 - $2,000.
The grant is open to postgraduate students undertaking coursework in bioanthropology, specialising in primatology.
Tall Foundation Scholarship (Archaeology)
Applications open: 20 December 2021 – 1 March 2022
There is one $5,000 scholarship on offer. It is open to commencing Honours or Masters (Advanced) program students in the field of archaeology.
The objective of this Award is to support students, and to inspire them to undertake additional research and study in this field.
Funding for this Award has been provided by the Tall Foundation. The donors of the Tall Foundation are ANU alumni with broad interests in Archaeology.
Rhys Jones Fieldwork Award
Applications open: 20 December 2021 – 1 March 2022
There is one $1,500 award on offer. The objective of the award is to support student research in Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology. It is open to a continuing ANU student enrolled in archaeology or palaeoanthropology at Honours / Masters / PhD level.
Vis and Anjeli Nathan Travel Grant (Anthropology)
Applications open: 20 December 2021 – 1 March 2022
There is one travel grant of $1,400 on offer. The award is open to an undergraduate student who is enrolled in a full-time capacity in an undergraduate anthropology program, who has a demonstrated high capacity for achievement in the field.
